SSC CGL exam is now online it is mentioned on Admit Card and while you fill the form, so Candidates have to appear for SSC CGL at online Exam Center.

SSC had announced that there are some changes in CGL Exam pattern but no need to worry beacuase the SSC CGL syllabus will remain same but changes will occur in pattern only.
Tier-1 SSC CGL syllabus
In tier-1 there would be 100 Multiple Choice questions asked from 4 Different different section, and the sections are given below.

4. General Awareness
These 4 section is equally divided, 25 questions in each section and marks of each question is 2. so the total number of SSC CGL Exam is of 200 marks.
Duration of Exam for Tier-1 Exam is 75minutes.
Moreover SSC exam will be on system(Online Exam).
Total Marks-200 and 0.50 marks will be deducted for every incorrect Answer.

Tier-2 SSC CGL Syllabus
This exam is only for those candidates who have passed Tier-1 Exam. those candidate can appear for Tier-2 Exam.
Tier-2 Exam have 2 sections one is English and other one is Quantitative Aptitude.
1). Quantitative Aptitude: For Tier-2 Examination, There would be 100 question each question carry equal marks which is 2. Duration for this Tier-2 Exam would be 2 hours.
2). English: In english Section for Tier-2 Exam, Would have maximum 200 question and each question carry equal marks which is 1marks. Duration for this section of the Exam is 2 Hours.
Important Note: There will be deduction of 0.50 marks for Quantitative Aptitude section and 0.25 marks Deduction in English on incorrect answer.
DESCRIPTIVE PAPER (SSC CGL Syllabus):
SSC CGl has been introduce a descriptive paper for those who qualify Tier-2 Exam, Duartion for this Desecriptive paper is 1 Hour only.
Questions for this descriptive paper will be from these following section given below:
1. Essay Writing
2. Letter Writing
3. Precis Writing
Aspirants would have the choice to choose whether he/she wants give exam in Hindi Language or English language for Tier-1.

Here are the details of Marks for each Sections.
So, What we observe from the figure is English section and Quant Section has equal and maximum weightage of marks. and Reasoning with GA has minimum weightage of marks.
But one thing to remember for every candidates in SSC CGL Syllabus that all 4 sections are equally important and having similar weightage marks for Tier-1 Examination.
So, dear candidates prepare for all sections, But should have more focus on English section and Quant Section from Tier-2.
This is the most scored and Time Saving Sections in SSC CGL Tier-1 Examination.
Section carry 50 Questions and maximum duration of time is 20minutes. Questions asked mainly from Static GK and Science and Crap Questions.
1. Static GK: Question in GK will be asked from Indian History and Culture, Economy of Country, Politics and Geography.
2. Science Section: Biology, Physics, computer section and Chemistry of 10th class book.
3. Crap Questions: Books and author name, Current affairs, General Awareness, Person and Places name, Current news and Abbreviation.
1). Static Gk Questions: 29
2). Science Questions: 18
3). Crap Questions: 3
SSC CGL syllabus for Reasoning– This Section of Reasoning contains 50 questions in Tier-1 Examination.
Questions would be Syllogism, Coding-Decoding, statement and Assumption, Analogy, Ranking, Non-Verbal Reasoning, Seating Arrangement, Directions, Statement and Conclusions, Series Problem or etc.
SSC CGL syllabus from Quantitative Aptitude
This Section has the high weightage, 50 Questions in Tier-1 Examination and 100 Questions in Tier-2 Examination carries 250 marks.
Question For this Section will be asked From:
1). Number Theory(HCF, Prime number, natural number, HCF)
2). Geometry and Algebra
5). Ratio and Proportion
6). Speed, Distance and Time
SSC CGL syllabus for English– English section is very easiest among all sections and high weightage in Marks 250. 50 marks from SSC CGL Tier-1 and rest 200 Marks from SSC CGL Tier-2.
